商品コンセプトは？ What is the concept for this item?

ポーン、ナイト、ルークに続くチェスピースシリーズの最新作！ヘキサギアの騎乗戦闘ではなく並走しながらの格闘戦を主眼に開発されたアーマータイプは、要所に配された碑晶質製の装甲パーツと猛獣使いのムチのような武装が特徴です。コトブキヤショップ限定仕様となる【ノワール】は各部が“女性タイプ”となっています。

This is the latest in a series of chess piece-inspired HEXA GEAR that includes Pawn, Knight, and Rook! This new armor was developed primarily for side-by-side combat with HEXA GEAR, rather than mounted combat. It is characterized by the stelacry armor parts strategically placed on vital parts and weapon that resembles the whip of a lion tamer. This Kotobukiya Shop exclusive colorway, Noir, is a female version with female parts.

造形についてこだわったところを教えてください。 Which parts of the sculpt did you pay attention to most?

ビショップモチーフという事で“聖職者”を意識した装甲の優美さと苛烈さが同居するデザイン、そして大型の武装をガバナーサイズで保持する為の関節構造の両立が課題でした。主武装であるムチも通常のビショップとは異なる形状となっており、そちらも見どころとなっています。

Bishop was designed to be both graceful and fierce like its namesake. As well, the joints were purpose-designed to be able to carry large weapons for a Governor. The whip, Bishop's primary weapon, is different in this version from the regular of Bishop.

ギミックについて教えてください。 Tell us about some features of this product.

ガバナーの武器としてはシリーズ最長となる約300ｍｍの武装パーツは金属線を内蔵したベンダブル構造で自在に曲げる事ができ、ヘキサギアの手持ち武器としても使用可能なオプショングリップも付属します。カスタムパーツとしても脊髄、触覚、触手など様々なイメージを喚起させるパーツです。

The 300mm weapon, the longest Governor weapon to date, is equipped with a bendable metal wire inside that allows it to be freely bent. An optional grip that can be used as a hand-held weapon for HEXA GEAR is also included. These parts can also be used on their own as various parts in custom models, such as spinal cords, tentacles or haptic limbs.
